Iigig5

iiGig 5 - New Adventures in Improv

Tuesday 12th October - 8pm - Sleepers Bar, Huddersfield, HD1 5DL, UK

Acts

Alex McLean & Matthew Yee-King

Alex McLean - Live coder, programmer and maker of feedback.pl

Matthew Yee-King - Livecoder using SuperCollider + Emacs under GNU/Linux. Specialist in algorithmic drum machine programming and the PMOsc UGen.

Part of the TOPLAP UK AllStars Tour

Charlie Barnes

Charlie Barnes - When asked to describe his music, Charlie is often deliberately vague; ‘big, morbid pop’, or ridiculous; ‘Imagine Radiohead and Imogen Heap in a darkened room jamming to Erik Satie’s Gnoissiennes with Scott Walker providing the vocals’. Both are, in fact, surprisingly accurate.

MCLD

Dan Stowell - MCLD brings together two different improvisatory worlds: beatboxing and livecoding.

Part of the TOPLAP UK AllStars Tour
