It is operated by Kirklees Theatre Trust, a charitable company limited by guarantee.

Purpose

To provide the opportunity for the people of Kirklees to experience a wide variety of arts opportunities including attending performances of the best bouring companies in the country, utilizing the facilities of the Theatre for amateur and community performances, and participatingin a host of arts activities aimed at both young and old.
